E - Cargo Bike Training
The funding support for the Manchester and Salford E-cargo library requires users to have some training.
What Training do i need?
All users must have the equivalent of level 3 Bikeability training.
This mean you need to complete a Level 3 Bikeability course or a course that covers the same or similar content.
What will this Cost?
Individuals living in Greater Manchester can get free one to one cycle training from TfGM. When booking - choose the 1 2 1 course. When contacted say you would like to get a to the equivalent of level 3 bikeability and you need evidence of this to hire from the Manchester and Salford e-cargo bike library.
Groups will need to find an instructor or training provider. A lesson will start from £100 for a two hour lesson with a ratio of 1:3. Cost will vary depending on location, venue and if you need bike hire
You will generally need to complete a level one and two lesson then a level three lesson. To start at level two it is assumed you can ride a bike on quiet roads, stop your bike when needed, ride with one hand so you can signal with your arm.
